Letters To Emma: What a Weekend!

Dear Emma,
Well, the past week, and this past weekend were ever so busy for mommy! I was able to be the photographer for a friends wedding, and so I took engagement photos, rehearsal photos and then the wedding day photos! It was so much fun, and you treated mommy very well through it all. I felt good, and had the energy to get through it all thank Jesus. I'm glad that I have little morning sickness and am able to get around more. Also, the very next day was your brother Elijah's first birthday! I stayed up baking cupcakes and a cake, and decorating for that with your daddy! It was so much fun! Since it was his 1st birthday, I wanted it to be special :) Then, two days later it was mine and your dad's anniversary! Two years of fun with your daddy :) I'm pretty tired now. I think it's all catching up with me now ;) Good thing we have the ability to rest. I've taken it easier yesterday and today.

So... You are one funny baby Emma. I don't know quite what to think about this, but you are soooooooooooooooooooooooooo hipper! That's what I gather anyway. You are always moving and kicking mommy REALLY hard! It actually feels awkward for me sometimes and you aren't even that big yet! Yipes, I wonder how it will be when you are bigger!? But the difference is that you kick downward, and make me have to pee about every 10 minutes! It's so weird. I keep telling your dad, "it's like she wants out already." Kind of makes me nervous because Eli never did that. But you put a lot of pressure on me in that direction, and it seems like you are trying to find your way out! Hahahaha, I'm sorry about being so blunt, but it's true! I keep having the feeling that you might make an early appearance! Not too early or anything, but maybe before your due date. Only God knows I suppose. :)

I'm so excited for you to come Emma! Your daddy and I were talking about you last night, and how we can't wait to see what you look like, and to hold you and hear your cry! Your going to be a tiny little baby!!! Ah, we are so excited! I was telling daddy how I was going to paint your little toe nails when you are a bit older! Fun girly stuff! You are making my tummy very large these days Emma! Hahaha... It's hard to be comfortable already. I have had days where I change three times! There are many reasons this could happen, for instance, when I play with your brother, I always get dirty and get stains on my clothes, so if I need to run any errands I change before going out. The other reasons could be that what I first put on is not comfortable enough, or doesn't fit right, but at times it takes me the whole morning to figure that out. (Your brother is trying to shut my computer right now, and also press buttons!) I better go, he wants to play cars with me :) Love you Emma! :)
